THOUGHTS:

RE: SUSTAINABILITY:
At Ed Rahme, we believe that sustainability is to architecture what grammer is to writing; while it is necessary to write with respect for principles of grammer, stories about grammer are not very interesting.
Building design and construction must be rooted in sustainable building practices but the architecture should tell interesting stories about the people who made it.

RE: DESIGN:
For many years people have designed insipid copies of beloved buildings from history. The superficial application and counterfeiting of materials with plastics, resins and false wood grains have produced an environment devoid of meaning.
THINK Architecture is committed to architecture as an extension of the environment; real materials, sustainable strategies and spaces relating to the movement of the sun, wind and stars.
