A Life Care Village

A 44-acre Continuing Care Retirement Community

Continuing Care Retirement Community - A small town

This master plan for a 42-acre Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is an expansion of the existing development.

The plane is based on establishing a town center with density and activities and less dense suburbs.

A Town Center - The core of a new development

An urban, suburban concept. Shops, activities and a density of living units. We placed the memory care facilities in the downtown core to allow the residents to continue to feel part of the activities of life.

A necessity becomes a beautiful feature

The Storm Water Management Pond becomes a feature and serves as an organizing feature of the community. A building on the lake provides for public facilities available to all of the families with members in the community.

Circular neighborhoods - Community for independent residents

The neighborhoods provide diversity through the use of modular housing designs. The concept of circular neighborhoods reduces the extent of roads necessary - this reduces up front construction costs and maintenance expenses through the years.

Living in a park-like setting

A network of paths connect the different zones of the development. These paths provide a safe environment and a social connector for the residents to meet each other, exercise and connect with the downtown.
